Our goal is to test the apps and verify their promises to give readers a clearer idea of what they can expect. We are in no way affiliated with the app or the studio that published it, nor with other projects. We simply seek to inform our readers so they can make the best decision regarding each project.

Also, if this app isn’t what you’re looking for, I invite you to check out our lists. There you’ll find some legitimate options that can help you find work online. The lists also feature some games and other offers available that can help you generate income for free. Check them out. Now, let’s see if Matchoo works or is just another scam.

What is Matchoo?

Matchoo promises to be an app that helps us find work online or even in person, with a very tempting offer that’s far above the norm. It also promises to pay attention and verify each offer to ensure that everything we receive is real, but is it really safe? Well, that’s what I put to the test, and I have a few things to say.

To begin with, this app was published by BIG VOICE WEB, a studio that, prior to this publication, had three projects that hadn’t achieved any kind of impact or public approval. Personally, I like to check the profiles of companies, as they can offer clues about how a project works and whether it’s legitimate and safe for the long term, or just a scam that’s not worth the effort. In this case, we’re talking about three projects that are in no way related to the niche and, furthermore, don’t have a positive track record.

For a project of this type, it’s essential to have credibility and community support, and this app lacks that. There’s no information about the app or the company anywhere; it’s as if it’s invisible to the public.

Installing and registering on Matchoo:

Finding this app can be easy, although you might be confused by other projects. That’s why I recommend checking the name of the company that published it before installing it. If you don’t see the option to install it, it could be due to compatibility issues with your phone.

You don’t need to register to access the app; your details can be added later.

How does it work?

Matchoo‘s functionality is simple, although a bit lacking. When you log in to the app, you’ll see several job postings, although in this case they’re only available in one language: English. The postings don’t specify the location in the world where the project is located or the location to which each job is linked, but based on the language, it’s most likely English-speaking.

On the main screen, you’ll find a wealth of job postings, covering every category and job imaginable, although the most attractive are certainly related to programming and engineering. You’ll also find in-person and virtual job postings, although there’s no filter you can use to select just one; you have to search manually. Another detail I should highlight is that the interface is incredibly simple, with no search engine, filters, or any other tool to make searching easier.

On the other hand, when you enter a job offer and select the option to apply, nothing happens; only a box appears notifying you that your application was successful and nothing else. You never receive another notification discussing the topic, nor do they ask for your information or a contact email.

Payments:

This app doesn’t offer any payment options, as is common. This is because it only acts as an intermediary between us and the companies offering the jobs. Matchoo “offers” jobs, but the reality is that the offers must be external, and this leads it to completely ignore any issues related to payment for workers.

The app can get away with it even if we file a complaint, since they aren’t directly responsible, so it’s best to be cautious and review each offer carefully. Remember that there are established and reputable online job search platforms; consider searching there before trusting an app with no track record.

Does Matchoo work?

Although I’d like to say yes, the reality is that Matchoo doesn’t pay; it’s just a junk app like so many others. The offers available on this app are fake, and I don’t rule out the possibility that they’re even fabricated posts from the company itself to give the project some credibility. To date, there’s no recognized company posting offers through this platform, and the offers present don’t inspire any trust or backing.
